a few weeks ago it was my back and now its my knee.
saturday i rode 100 miles of nowhere. recap here.
it was great. really great.
but some of my laziness (misaligned left cleat and seat not raised enough with new shoes) led to a knee injury that’s left me sidelined this week. i have been doing weights for my upper body and abs, but leaving my legs be. after 100 miles on the bike i think i’m okay for a bit. but i get so ANTSY. and honestly, when i fall out of my goove, its SO HARD to get back into it. my knee feels almost awesome today. not perfect. i need to rest at least another day maybe more, but i know it wont be a serious long term injury, which is good.
im not sure i’ll make it to my fav race this weekend though. its just a 10k, but i LOVE it for some reason and i had to miss it last year too. i’m a little down in the dumps about it all, but i’m sure once i’m back on my feet i’ll feel better about it all. i always do.
