1. Off the Wagon

While I did make it outside for four runs last week, they were all short (3-5 milers). Javier’s parents left Saturday. Javier was in Seattle and Portland Monday through Wednesday. My sister has been in town since Thursday though she left this afternoon. And until today, I was hugely stressed about finding a new job. My motivation has been totally drained out of me with visitors in town and the job search. I also am having difficulty with the distance running in general. I’m just not sure my mind and heart are in it. I love getting outside for 45 minutes or so of exercise but after that I just seem to hit a wall. I am certain that a significant amount of this is a result of all of the distractions over the last three weeks but it is a bit disheartening. I’m hoping that I can get back on the wagon this week. After all, Anne will be here this weekend to run a long run with me. Wish me luck!
